I think honesty is an important part of life.

Let’s begin with personal relationships. Lack of honesty here leads to all kinds of problems. For example, if you lie to your friends, you would have to work hard to win back their trust. And if you can’t depend on them to tell you the truth, then your friendship is unlikely to last.

Honesty at work is just as important. A person who doesn’t value honesty is a bad colleague. Most people work in teams and if you cannot trust a colleague, the team will break down.
